Custom tattoos:

Custom tattoos will require a 50$ drawing fee on top of the 50$ deposit, the deposit will contribute to final costs but the drawing fee will not. Rough drafts of the design will be sent out 2-7 days before your appointment, this is the time for making edits and I ask you send all edits at the same time to ensure communication and fluid editing. Major changes/full new idea will require another 50$ drawing fee. Any further edits past 2 rounds of editing will be considered a major design change. This can be avoided by providing as much information as possible in your booking request or by communicating with me for developing an idea together prior to drawing.

Please provide:

Written idea for custom. highlight any features that you particularly want included (eg. "I like the teardrop-shaped bull kelp floats vs sphere-shaped", face angles, etc) other features will be assumed to be left to my judgement.
at least 2 photos for reference, you can also leave a comment about what features in photo you like (can be a google image of plant/animal/etc).
- Please limit photos of other peoples’ tattoos to one photo, while these may be helpful to see what you have liked in other tattoos, references of live subjects are more useful.
Tight/specific filling between tattoos may require in-person consult (free of charge)
If you have a specific composition in mind feel free to send a sketch! Even just quick blocked shapes help.
Flash tattoos:
Flash can be found on my Instagram, pieces that are available will be in ~flash~ story highlights.
Larger flash pieces are not repeatable, smaller pieces are repeatable roughly 3-5 times to the artist’s discretion.
Small edits to flash are welcomed (eg. adding water drops around salmon flash, erasing extra length of branch, etc.), larger edits/expanding of flash idea (eg. changing type of flower on a bird+flower flash, adding kelp around humpback flash) will be considered a custom tattoo and require a drawing fee

Famiglia Tattoo in Victoria, BC, Lkwungen lands provides a calm and personal tattoo experience to all clients. Our tattoo shop is organized in private studio rooms, allowing clients complete privacy and a relaxed tattoo environment.

The shop is located on the main floor of an old, commercially zoned blue character house, with our shop decal on the window.

The shared waiting room is located up a flight of 8 stairs off the sidewalk with railings on either side. There is a motor-powered wheel chair lift to the right of the staircase if needed. There are no stairs inside the waiting room or studio space, and there is a railing to the left of the toilet in the toilet. Unscented soaps are provided. No artificially scented cleaning products are used.

The washroom does not care about gender.

Clients are encouraged to communicate accessibility needs to artists upon booking so we can welcome you as best as possible into our shop space!

If your project is accepted, you will receive an email from Tato indicating that your appointment is ready to be booked. This email may include a smaller note from the artist and an estimated time duration for your appointment. Based on this information, you can find a day and time that works for you and confirm the appointment.
