Hello! My name is Angela (she/they). I'm located in Mohkinstsis (Calgary, AB). I am in my fourth year of tattooing.

Thank you for your interest in my work! I am currently booking flash only. Customs will reopen Winter 2026.

Please read the following carefully before submitting a booking request. 

  • I am mainly tattooing arms and legs, if you are interested in a different area (sternum or back) leave it in the notes portion of this form. I am not currently tattooing heads, necks, fingers or private areas.
  • Available flash designs can be viewed on my instagram: @angelaesmythtattoo - I don't make edits to flash designs. 

  • Flash is not repeatable, unless stated otherwise! Flash is not secured until deposit is paid.
  • I may refuse a custom request if I feel it's out of my range or ability. 

  • I have the right to refuse service to any client and the right to refuse last minute and/or large changes in design. 

RATE & PAYMENT

  • My rate is $175/hr. Flash is typically flat rated, and customs are priced by my hourly rate.

  • Nonrefundable deposit of $50 is required for each flash design, payable via etransfer to angelaesmythtattoo@gmail.com at the time of your booking. (The deposit goes towards the final cost of your tattoo). 
  • Customs require an additional $50 drawing fee, which does not go towards your tattoo. Any small revisions are welcome, but big changes or redesigns will be charged an additional drawing fee.   

  • e-transfer or cash for the remaining cost of the tattoo at the end of the appointment. 
  • I require 48 hours notice in order to reschedule or cancel your appointment. 
  • If you cancel/reschedule within 48 hours you will forfeit your deposit 
  • You'll have to pay another deposit to reschedule both deposits will go towards the final cost
  • You'll have to pay another deposit to rebook after cancelling, only 1 deposit will go towards the final cost.

STUDIO POLICY

  • You must be 18+ to be tattooed. Please bring one piece of valid, government issued photo ID to your appointment.  

  • I can accommodate guests but please let me know if you plan on bringing someone with you. If the studio is busy, your guest may be asked to leave to make room for artists and clients.

  • You're welcome to bring a bottle of water and snacks!

215 36 Ave NE - Door 8. We are located at street level beside the large wall mural! Look for the Loveyland window sign.


Parking is free in the complex and around the area, just watch the street signs to be sure you’re parked legally. If you happen to arrive early, there is Congress Coffee on the far left of the complex!

The # 3, #4, and #69 are the closest buses with stations nearby.

Our shop is wheelchair accessible from the back. Contact us or your artist ahead of time to ensure our setup works for you as there is a bit of a decline from the road. The front of our shop is up one step and through 2 non-automatic doors. It is not currently wheelchair accessible. We have two bathrooms each equipped with railings, though they are quite narrow. All artists will wear medical masks upon request for clients who require a fully masked space. We supply extra masks if needed.

We are committed to creating a welcoming space free of discrimination or harassment! Racism, transphobia, homophobia, fatphobia, ableism, etc. will not be tolerated. this applies to clients + artists entering the studio. Our studio is open concept - therefore we ask that conversations be kept appropriate or ask for consent regarding sensitive or potentially triggering topics. This is out of respect to everyone in the space.

What's Next?

Thank you for your interest! Once you submit the request, angelaesmythtattoo will review your submission as soon as possible. If your project is accepted, you will receive an email from Tato indicating that your appointment is ready to be booked. This email may include a smaller note from the artist and an estimated time duration for your appointment. Based on this information, you can find a day and time that works for you and confirm the appointment.
