Spring Charity Drive
We recognize how fortunate we are to work with amazing artists and patrons of the arts, and to have our basic needs met. Not everyone is as lucky as we are.
How This Works
When charity drives are active, Tato will donate $1 CAD from each successful deposit to the organization centred around the drive.
A successful deposit
is a deposit placed through Tato when the artist gets successfully paid.
Once the drive is complete, we will announce how much money was raised and we will write a cheque to the organization and send it to them.
As usual, Artists always get paid the full amount for their deposits.
How to Participate
Continue to make awesome art, and support artists you like! Any tattoo appointments with deposits that complete within the drive span (even if it was booked before the drive started) are automatically eligible. Using Tato to book tattoos supports the community.
You can also donate directly to the organization, every bit helps! On the other hand, we may have chosen an organization that for whatever reasons you do not support. There is no opt-out mechanism as these funds come from us directly. Even if we do not see eye-to-eye on a specific organization (organizations are often as flawed as the human beings that comprise them), know that our intentions are to support local communities and lift up our fellow humans, which is something we can all get behind. We are not a corporate mega-structure - if you feel it helpful, start a conversation with us. We would love to hear your feedback and learn about other organizations that we can support together in the future.
WISH Drop-In Centre Society

For Spring of 2025, the WISH Drop-In Center Society is the organization our little community with be pledging support. We've had family members volunteer here, we know the massive impact that they have for people on a daily basis.
WISH works to improve the health, safety and well-being of women who are involved in Vancouver's street-based sex trade.
WISH is celebrating their 40th anniversary of helping people.
We believe that WISH performs a critical role in supporting people in our community.
